Getting to Shirahama from major stations and airport
1. From Osaka Station or Shin-Osaka Station
- Take the JR Limited Express Kuroshio directly to Shirahama Station (about 2.5 hrs).
- Total Travel Time: About 2.5 hrs
2. From Kyoto
- Take a local train to Osaka Station or Shin-Osaka Station.(about 30 mins).
- Transfer to the JR Limited Express Kuroshio to Shirahama Station (about 2.5 hrs).
- Total Travel Time: About 3 hrs
3. From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
- Take the JR Kansai Airport Rapid to Hineno Station (about 10 mins).
- Transfer to the JR Limited Express Kuroshio to Shirahama Station (about 1 hr 50 mins).
- Total Travel Time: 2 hrs
4. From Tokyo (Haneda) Airport
- You can fly directly into Nanki-Shirahama Airport with JAL (about 1 hr).
- From Nanki-Shirahama Airport, take a taxi to the hotel (about 15 mins).
- Total Travel Time: About 1 hr 15 mins
