Autumn Journeys in Motion: A Private Cycling Tour Through Nasu & Nikko
Earlier this month, four British gentlemen joined a nine-day custom private cycling tour through Nasu and Nikko—riding from the serene, gold-tinted countryside of early autumn into the deep, mystical mountains beyond.
Just 70 minutes by bullet train from Tokyo, Nasu is a lush showcase of rural Japan, where quiet villages, forests, and rice fields reflect a life in harmony with nature. And there’s no better way to experience it all than by bicycle.
Along the way, the group immersed themselves in Japan’s cultural treasures—strolling through exquisite gardens and castle grounds, visiting a secluded Zen temple in the mountains, meeting local artisans in pottery and washi paper, and exploring sacred shrines steeped in history.
Of course, no Ride Experience journey is complete without our signature touches: exquisite local cuisine, fine sake pairings, and soothing hot springs to unwind after each day’s ride.
At Ride Experience, we craft tailor-made private tours that reflect your interests, skill level, and the beauty of each season. Our guests always leave with unforgettable memories—will you be next?
