Our most popular luxury offering, the Foodie’s Bike Tour Nasu – Nikko, is in full swing and drawing rave reviews once again. Scattered cherry blossoms still clung to the trees as we rode through countryside coming alive with rice paddy preparations, the very picture of a Japanese spring.
And the food. Where do we even begin. A full course lunch at a centuries-old farmhouse, bursting with just-harvested vegetables. Freshly made soba. River fish straight from the source. Tochigi’s celebrated strawberries. Crispy, golden katsu straight from the fryer. And each evening, a procession of beautifully composed kaiseki dishes at a luxury onsen ryokan.
The tour begins in the Nasu Highlands and builds to a grand finale in Nikko, home to stunning UNESCO World Heritage shrines and a lake of quiet, breathtaking beauty.
